Jonathan Schmidt studied fine arts and illustration at Altos de Chavon in 2001, Parsons in 2003, and the Dalvero Academy 2004. He combines his work as a freelance illustrator with teaching at Altos de Chavon School of Design in la Romana. His motto: “If you can think it, you can draw it. If you can draw it, you can make it a reality.” Besides drawing as a way to solve visual problems, Schmidt loves sculpting and painting.
