I attended the last symposium at Lisbon, and I'm really looking forward to Santo Domingo, especially as it will be my first trip to this part of the world. I grew up in Singapore, but I now live in England, where I work as a radiologist in Chelmsford, Essex, but also spend a lot of time in London, where I have a place in the East End. I completed an MA in Art History last year, for which I wrote a dissertation on Francesco Guardi, the last great urban painter of the Venetian Republic.

One of the things that I love the most about USK is the different professional backgrounds that we all have. Radiologist? pretty awesome! Francesco Guardi's art is great!

ReplyDeleteWe didn’t meet when we were in Lisbon, but I hope to in Santo Domingo! The world of medicine and art have interwtwined for me, too. My husband, who is a retired physician (neurology), will be joining me while I attend the Symposium. I managed his medical pratice for 20 years. Your drawing is airy and dynamic.
