Uploading like crazy may be the only way to process this amazing adventure. Reviewing all my photos and scanning my sketches I am so grateful for this opportunity each year to "spoil" my artist self after a long school year of giving to the kiddos. The symposiums allow me to meet amazing artists, be humbled by so many, learn new techniques while being reminded what my sketches mean to me, and finally they reaffirm sketching as a powerful and valid form of human communication.
All that in a grassroots, volunteer run org? Amazing. Thanks to all the organizers but especially to my 3peat Symposium friend Orling. I wonder sometimes where she gets the energy sometimes then I realize her joy for life feeds it!

Stephanie (you see, I got it right now, :-), these are amazing... I was just telling Alanna yesterday how nice it is to see our work evolve in each symposium. From those sketches back in Portland until today... I look forward to do a fourth repeat. I now feel like if I don't see you, Alanna or Liz in the group something is wrong, hahahahahaha let's go for that fourth gathering... let's start the saving$$$ :-))
