Warming up for the Symposium

Yesterday I had a very nice sketchcrawl experience. Our new friend Kalina Wilson made a stop in Puerto Rico before attending the Symposium, so we planned a trip to the beautiful city of Ponce, in the southern part of the island. It's usually very dry, but it actually rained. Murpy's law I guess...

I went with my wife Bri and our son, picked up Kalina, and also met there with friends José Lorenzo and Rafael Ferrer. We sketched at Plaza Las Delicias, el Parque de Bombas, iglesia Nuestra Señora de la Guadalupe, la Plaza del Mercado and at Pizzalato (a pizza/gelato/cafe) where we sheltered from the rain.

Even with the rain, I very much enjoyed the trip... sketching, pizza, gelato, "quenepas" and great company, what's not to like?
