More Faces...

Here are some more sketchers I captured during the symposium.

Judith Dollar (above) tempted me, Nina Johnasson (below), and Luis Araujo, away from the final Parque Colon SketchCrawl for an iced-coffee break. Well, it was very hot...

We felt too guilty to stop completely though, so we sketched each other, sipping intermittently at a little bit of heaven: frozen cappuccino.

I did these next two spreads at the correspondent's dinner, on the 2nd night of the symposium. It was a lovely setting, right by the sea (although it was too dark to see - which is why we mostly sketched each other again).

This one, of my new best-sketch-buddy Scott Renk, was done on the first evening, when we first got to know one another. We were all crammed into a bar which was designed for less than half the amount!

Luckily for me, another new-friend-to-be, Benjamin Melgares, offered me one buttock's worth of his chair and, even more lucky for me, ours was the only corner of the whole bar with any light, so we got to sketch, if not in comfort exactly, in illumination!
