Schedule and Workshops

The 3rd International Urban Sketching Symposium offers an intense schedule of workshops, panels, lectures and exhibits that give participants a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow urban sketchers from around the world and gain valuable drawing instruction in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Participants can choose up to five urban sketching workshops out of a rich menu that covers a wide range of subject matter, including perspective and architecture, picture design, storytelling and reportage, color techniques and more.

The workshops take place in historic Santo Domingo enclaves within walking distance of our hosting institution, Centro Cultural de España. Each workshop is limited to a maximum of 15 participants in order to ensure a quality experience for everyone. The duration of each workshop is about three hours.

To accommodate all participants in the time allowed, eight workshops are offered simultaneously at any given time. In all, Symposium instructors teach 40 workshops over the three days.

The schedule is subject to change.

Participants make their workshop choices after they have registered for the Symposium.
