There really aren't enough superlatives to describe the great symposium put on by Orling and her organizing committee. I'm grateful to all for their inspired work, for introducing me to the charms of Santo Domingo, and for providing opportunities to learn and evolve! I don't think one can draw through these workshops and not be pushed to new levels. As evidence, I offer the two sketches below. The first was done on Tuesday evening, before the symposium began. The second was made in the same square during the "Improvising with Lines and Colors" workshop given my Inma and Orling. I think the results speak for themselves. Thanks again; more to come...

DeleteIt was a great experience, I know I have been pushed into a new way of thinking about my art, and art in general; and am so excited to see where it leads as time goes on. These are both gorgeous sketches, Jim, I am tempted to post something in the same vein "before" and "after".
