Everything fits neatly in the shoulder bag and then I latch the chair over the bag. Even when I'm going somewhere that I think will have seating, I still find a use for the chair. Don't feel that any supplies or colors are required. I'm just showing you what I use, your mileage may vary.
A large gathering of artists on the streets of Santo Domingo is an event in itself, but I will discuss how to use social media and other sources as a way to decide what events need to be sketched and when. My work involves my going daily to, theaters, bars, festivals, and workshops to report on the Arts and Culture scene in Orlando Florida. By connecting with people from all around town through my sketches, I am gradually helping build a sense of community. Perhaps when you return home from the Urban Sketching Symposium you can use mainstream and social media to help you get out into the community every day.
